PAYMENT TERMS

Payment is via bank transfer, please note that the booking is not confirmed until full payment is received. The Security Bond is charged at the time of booking.  

BOND

A $500 security bond is to be paid at the time of booking (for direct bookings). The bond will be returned within 7 days and upon inspection of the property after your stay.

CANCELLATION
POLICY

A full refund will be given for cancellations made prior to 14 days before check-in.

50% of the total booking value will be charged for cancellations made 7-14 days before check-in.

100% of the total booking will be charged for cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in.

If you have booked via Airbnb, their Terms and Conditions apply to the booking.

CHECK-IN | CHECK-OUT

Check-In is from 2pm.
Check-Out is by 10am.
Our cleaners will arrive on site at 10am to start preparation for our next guest's arrival, please vacate the property by this time and follow the Check-Out instructions supplied.
 

Late Check-Outs will incur an extra fee of $50 per half hour, unless prior arrangement has been made for a later check out time.

NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS

Banyandah Cottage accommodation is for private/residential use only and a maximum of 6 guests can be accommodated.

Exceeding the stated number of guests will result in the termination of your booking and you will be required to vacate the property immediately without refund.

No extra guests are permitted on the property in tents or mobile vehicles.

CLEANING

A professional clean is carried out after check out and the cost is additional to the accommodation amount. The rate per clean is $120.

If the property is left in an unreasonable condition at check out, there will be an additional minimum cleaning charge of $100.

NOISE

Please be respectful to neighbours at all times and it is greatly appreciated that noise is kept to a minimum during your stay.

DAMAGE

Whilst you are in occupation, you are fully responsible for all breakages and damage caused to the property, its furniture fittings, or any consequent loss suffered by the Property Owner. Any such breakages, damage or loss must be reported immediately and paid for prior to departure.

Failure to comply with this condition will result in a debit of any such costs and expenses to your credit card or security deposit without further notice. If you notice any damage upon check-in please notify the owner or booking agent as soon as practical, so it can be noted and rectified at the earliest convenience.

SMOKING

No smoking inside the Property. If there is evidence of such including a smoke odour you will be charged a fee of $500 to cover the cleaning of curtains and carpets. Please ensure all cigarette waste is disposed of or extra clean up fees will apply.

PLEASE NOTE

• We have a 2 night minimum stay unless alternative arrangement is made with Banyandah Cottage Management.

• The property has a fire pit in the backyard, it is to be operated at user’s responsibility and requires adult supervision at all times.

• Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the property at any time.

• There is a security camera located next to the front verandah directed at the driveway and footpath area. This is for security when the property is vacant.

• Please refrain from moving large indoor furniture around, and keep indoor furniture inside and outdoor furniture outside.
